We moved up our schedule just a bit.

Got a chance to get out of Bowling Green a little early so we headed for Effingham on Friday night. Even got into Effingham early enough to visit with a friend of Tomi's from high school, who owns a Harley Davidson Dealership here. Got to see some pretty cool.......and expensive bikes.

We then drove over to Mid America Motorworks, and man, did they really treat us right. We started off by meeting Cheryl Habing, who heads up PR. She really knows how to do her job.

She introduced us to Dennis (and forgive me for not remembering his last name), who is in charge of all of the museum cars.
He gave us an excellent tour of the museum.......

Then we even got to go behind the scenes to his shop where he restores the cars.

All by himself, he restores the cars the Mike Yager finds for his collection and did a wonderful job of telling us the fine details of each.

Then we ventured outside to take some photos. The marque out front welcomed us in style.
(Sorry Wade, about the "club" thing).

But Kyle just couldn't resist going around the race track once or twice.

Afterwards, Cheryl took us inside for refreshments and lunch (all free!!!). Even gave us door prizes and a goodie bag when we left.
(here Dave and Tomi model their prize)

Like I said, they really treated us well. They really know the meanning of Customer Service.
It was a great way to finish up a wonderful trip. A Big Thanks to Cheryl and Mid America Motorworks. I highly recommend a stop at their facility when ever you get the chance.
